One World Arts invites you to join us for the launch of our healing and creative arts component of the organization. In time for spring renewal and rebirth, these initial community engagement workshops are supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and the Bronx Council on the Arts. Presented by dynamic facilitators to help us soothe our body, mind, spirit, and soul, these introductory workshops will be conducted via Zoom during April and May. Class size limited. Introduction to Meditation
Through this course, we will explore how meditation aids in developing mastery over emotions and mental activity enabling us to more effectively manifest the life we desire. Meditation is important in relieving stress.... scientifically proven to increase the grey matter in our brain that governs our everyday functions. This part of our brain diminishes with age. Meditation can help halt this process and rebuild again. Most importantly, meditation is a proven tool to a happier and healthier life.
This course is for beginners but all are welcomed.

Full Body Stretch
Stretch will increase flexibility and prevent injury. It is a combination of Active Isolated stretches and easy Yoga techniques to improve flexibility.
Stretch exercises allow for greater freedom of movement and improve posture. Increases physical and mental relaxation. Releases muscle tension and soreness. Reduces the risk of injuries and improves muscular-skeletal health and fitness.

▪ Floor Stretch: Yoga mat & yoga strap needed.

"Finding your Voice"
This workshop will help to locate, identify and give space to the voice within that is waiting to come out. Set your voice free to be heard in all its wonderful uniqueness. This workshop is fun and for everyone. No vocal or singing experience necessary. Non-judgement.
